Ajax based web collaboration is at the heart of ZCS 6.0. The powerful web client integrates email, contacts, shared calendar, VoIP, and online document authoring into a rich browser-based interface. Also, our unique open source Zimlet technology makes it easy for you to include custom 'mash-ups' in the ZCS web client.

ZCS 6.0 also includes an elegant Ajax based Admin Interface plus full scripting tools to manage the ZCS server. Full support is provided for standards-based APIs (IMAP / POP / iCal / CalDAV) as well as MAPI and iSync, which enable seamless compatibility with other clients like Microsoft Outlook, Apple desktop suite, and Mozilla Thunderbird.

Zimbra also offers Zimbra Mobile, which provides over-the-air "push" synchronization to smartphones as well as a Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

The Zimbra solution also has a complete high security package including built-in anti-spam and anti-virus scanning.

Now Zimbra also features Archiving and Discovery, an optional component to save and search email for various compliance issues.

Additional Pricing and Packaging Information

Starter Edition

ZCS Network Starter Edition is a software-only package and is a great value for smaller businesses not considering a hosting option.

This option includes 15 Professional Edition mailbox licenses plus software & updates only with NO Zimbra Support. Additional mailbox licenses cannot be added; nor can Zimbra Mobile or Zimbra Archiving and Discovery.

License blocks

Licenses are sold in increments of 25 mailboxes and priced on a sliding scale based on the total number of end-user mailboxes purchased and your market.

For example, 25 Professional Edition mailboxes for a business are priced at USD$35 x 25 = USD$875.00 annually. Note: a mailbox license is defined as a person on the system and does not include distribution lists, aliases, locations, or resources.

Subscriptions and Perpetual Licenses

Subscription pricing is an annual license with includes Zimbra Support, upgrades and must be renewed each year.

Perpetual is a permanent ZCS software license for the major release version you are buying, plus any minor release updates to it (e.g. only 6.x.x). Zimbra Support can be purchased annually and entitles you to major release updates, portal access and more.

ZCS for Service Providers

ZCS Standard and Professional Editions are available to Service Providers with monthly pricing and ZCS Consumer or Business Editions are available with annual pricing. Please contact us for more information or compare ZCS product edition features.

Zimbra Mobile

Zimbra Mobile is an additional license option for either ZCS Standard or Network Edition users. It has an annual license fee starting at USD$500 and is USD$1000 for 75 or more mailboxes.

Please note: additional third party software / licenses may be required depending on the devices that you plan on supporting.

Zimbra Archiving and Discovery

Zimbra Archiving and Discovery (ZAD) is an email archiving and compliance solution available for purchase as an add-on to your ZCS Standard or Professional server. The licenses you purchase are in addition to the ones you purchase for ZCS.
